During October some of our Year 5 & 6 children enjoyed a fabulous residential trip to Aylmerton Outdoor Education Centre. This was an incredible experience for children and staff from both Donington Cowley Endowed Primary School and St Gilbert of Sempringham CofE Primary School. The were lots of adventures to take part in over the weekend but one of the highlights was the long and muddy marsh walk! They also loved the monster trail where they had to find different clues to solve a problem whilst avoiding the monsters, hiding in the woods. As well as partaking in amazing activities, our children learnt so much about team-building skills, communication and independence. It was a truly wonderful experience, and the Aylmerton team were, once again, superb. The children were a credit to the school with their behaviour and resilience.
